What happens when I commit to treatment?

Usually a treatment at ChecKin Health Clinic Ireland includes an initial consultation and the full session will be about 75 minutes.

Most clients need to attend 2 – 3 sessions over a couple of months, but this will depend on the individual needs of each client. Nearly all our clients come to have a specific issue dealt with, and most decide to attend once or twice a year after for a general NCT-like check-up or a boost before the winter season.

We will discuss a proposed treatment plan at your visit, and benefits and improvements can usually be felt from day one.

What questions will I be asked?

Before your first visit, we will have a complete and fully confidential intake consultation which includes questions about:

symptoms you have had or still have
your digestion
your daily diet
your general medical history
current medications or supplements you might be taking
your sleep patterns and energy levels throughout the day
potential toxic load from lifestyle – tattoos, teeth fillings, work chemicals
your ability to manage stress in your life
mood and mental health

What happens during the testing?

During the session you remain fully clothed and for the most part you will lie on a comfortable treatment bench, so your treatment is a non-intrusive experience.

We will place your arms, or head in various positions to test if your muscles are working as they should. With a wide range of test vials, we test the various systems of the body, accessing the digestive system, hormonal pathways and different body processes on a cellular level.

Small dietary changes may be part of your overall care plan for the period of repairing your gut microbiome. You may also need to take certain foods or nutrition to boost the body systems that need support.

What about nutrition or supplements?

When we detect toxins or biochemical malfunctions, we will suggest nutrients in supplement or homeopathic form and/ or small dietary changes.

It is important to understand that the cost of superior quality supplements is more about the nutritional content of the supplement as they are not bulked up with non-nutritional items such as fillers or binders.

Saying that, we always look for the least amount of remedies, the smallest dosage, and the shortest time necessary for the body to do its job again and come back into regulation.

We prefer to work with supplements from Epigenetics, and New Vistas, as they show the strongest testing results every time.

All remedies suggested by us fulfil following criteria :

• are hypo-allergenic
• do not contain hidden coatings, binders, fillers, shellacs, artificial colours or fragrance.
• are free of wheat, yeast, gluten, corn, sugar, starch, soy, preservatives & hydrogenated oils.
• are sourced only from trusted nutritional health industry leaders and
• contain only high-quality ingredients.

What is the Functional Health Check?

Before your first visit, we will have a complete and fully confidential intake consultation. For the Functional Health Check you will be asked to

bring a morning Urine sample
bring a morning Saliva sample
test midday Urine and saliva at time of your treatment for further biomarkers
be checked for blood pressure
oxygen levels in body
and test for Bieler’s and Barnes chart where relevant.

We are collecting all data on how deep your body is in trouble, to determine how long the healing journey will take, and what you can do to improve the terrain in your body for healing.

Why would the DNA testing be beneficial…

If you decide for this beneficial information, we will send a saliva sample to a trusted lab in Denmark for the testing. I have done extensive training to interpret the test results for you, so we can make a treatment plan based on your genetics and what you bring to the table.
